ToyotaWorldRunners
Toyota World Runners began as an idea. Actually it began as a truck, and the two of us making adventure videos and telling stories.
What it's become is a community. We are two adventurous souls that intend to live life to the fullest. And to us that is a radical adventure all over the world.
From humble beginnings, we want to inspire those who can believe in themselves and take action that you can do what you dream. Dreamers can be do-ers too.

HOW IT STARTED
Reward
Inspire others that true cross-border overland travel is still possible, and that your dreams
don't have to just be dreams. Life is one big possibility.
The age old saying that life is short becomes increasingly relevant as we age, and if we
don't take the risks to see through our dreams, we may never get the chance later.
Do it right, do it now.
HOW IT'S GOING
We placed our 1976 Toyota Chinook motorhome on a 1996 FZJ80 (80 series) Land Cruiser Chassis. The frame, suspension and lockers from the 80 series are all original.
We've decided on the Toyota 3.4L 5VZE V6 powerplant for our truck. Mated to a R150F Toyota 5 speed transmission and 4.88 Nitro gears in the differentials.
We upgraded and updated the interior with a new stove, diesel heater, sink and 3 stage water filter system. We added more storage under the counter and organized the 48 sq. ft to suit our needs on the road.
The bumpers, sliders and rear camp kitchen we all custom build by Western Off-Road Design. His keen eye for matching body lines give our Chinook it's personality.
